Our Classic: Dallmayr Iced Tea
Every summer, we add Dallmayr Iced Tea to our tea selection. This delicately aromatic blend combines rooibos tea, green tea, and black tea into a well-balanced mixture. Enhanced with hibiscus blossoms, apple pieces, lemongrass, orange peel, and natural flavoring, this iced tea offers a pleasantly refreshing break for any time of day.
Preparation
To prepare Dallmayr iced tea, first pour 500 ml of boiling water over 4–5 tablespoons of loose tea and let it steep for at least 5 minutes. Then pour the hot tea through a strainer over 500 g of ice or, alternatively, 500 ml of iced water, so that it cools immediately and develops its full flavor. The iced tea can then be sweetened, flavored, and garnished as desired—for example, with fresh fruit, herbs, or lemon slices.
Blueberry Cold Foam
Fruity, creamy, and pleasantly refreshing: The Blueberry Cold Foam combines Dallmayr prodomo with sweet blueberry purée and a light and creamy topping. The harmonious blend of fruity berry flavors, cold milk, and aromatic coffee makes this drink the perfect companion on summer days.
Ingredients
· 50 g blueberry purée
· Ice cubes
· 40 ml strong filter coffee (e.g., Dallmayr Prodomo)
· 100 ml milk of your choice
Ingredients for Cold Foam
· 35 ml blueberry purée
· 50 ml whipping cream
Preparation
First, pour the blueberry purée into the glass, then fill it with ice cubes. Next, pour in the milk and slowly pour the coffee over the ice. For the fruity cold foam, whip the heavy cream together with the blueberry purée until stiff, then spoon it onto the drink as a creamy topping.
Mango Matcha
Tropical, creamy, and wonderfully refreshing: Mango Matcha combines the delicately tart notes of Dallmayr Organic Matcha with fruity mango and mild rice-coconut milk. This summery drink captivates with its vibrant appearance and a harmonious blend of exotic sweetness and subtle matcha flavors.
Ingredients
· 70 g fresh or frozen mango
· 2 g Dallmayr Organic Matcha
· 150 ml cold rice-coconut milk
· 70 ml water
· Optional: maple syrup for sweetening
· Ice cubes
Preparation
Cut the mango into small pieces, mash it finely or puree it, and then set it aside. In a bowl, mix 2 g of Dallmayr matcha with a little hot water and whisk with a matcha whisk until smooth and there are no lumps left. Then add the remaining water and froth the matcha. First, fill a glass with the mango puree, then add ice cubes and pour in the milk. Finally, carefully pour the matcha over the top.
Protein Iced Coffee
Protein drinks are currently one of the biggest trends and are increasingly making their way into the world of coffee. The Protein Iced Coffee combines rich coffee with a subtle hint of vanilla and light, whipped protein milk. Perfect as a treat between meals or as an energy-packed start to the day.
Ingredients
· 1 espresso or caffè crema (e.g., Home Barista Caffè Crema Dolce)
· 150–200 ml almond milk
· 30 g vanilla protein powder
· a pinch of salt
· 1 tsp vanilla syrup
· ice cubes
Preparation
Mix the espresso, vanilla syrup, and a pinch of salt together, then add ice cubes. Whip the almond milk and protein powder together with a milk frother until creamy and frothy. Finally, carefully pour the protein milk over the coffee.
